Clearwater Marine Aquarium is now undergoing a $50 million expansion which will help with the current limited space. The updates include larger habitats for dolphins as well as more space for taking in injured marine life. They’re looking into expanding to the Intercoastal waters for a natural habitat in addition to the other improvements. More updates and additions includes a new five-pool dolphin habitat with underwater viewing. There has also been revisions in order to appease the residents at Island Estates. Some of the alterations include ditching the Jolly Trolley stop at the garage, designing garages to appear as townhomes, not allow beachgoers to use the garage and more.
